Nikiforov Alexander
Alexander Nikiforov was born on May 15, 1951. In 1976, he graduated from the acting department of The Russian Institute of Theatre Arts - GITIS (course of V. Andreev), and in 1987 - the directing department of GITIS (course of P. Chomsky). He worked as an actor in Russian Drama Theatre of Lithuania in Vilnius, and at then Theatre on Malaya Bronnaya.
Among his roles are: Eben in « Desire Under the Elms» by Eugene O'Neill; Pyotr Salnikov in «Not on the Active List» by Boris Vasilyev; Jack in « Everything in the Garden» by Edward Albee; Bessudniy in Alexander Ostrovsky’s «A Much Frequented Spot» and others. He staged: «Love the Greatest Enchantment» by Pedro Calderón, «Madame Bovary» by Gustave Flaubert, «Kasatka» by Aleksey Tolstoy, «Money To Burn» by Alexander Ostrovsky, and others.
