Alexander was born on May 31, 1984. In 2008 he graduated from the Mikhail Semyonovich Shchepkin Higher Theatre School (course of V.I. Korshunov) and joined the Maly Theatre’s company.
For the first time Alexander appeared on the Maly Theatre’s stage, while being a student. In 2007 he played the guiser in «Poverty is No Crime» by Alexander Ostrovsky, directed by Alexander Korshunov. Six years later Alexander performed one of the main roles - Grisha Razlyulyaev - in the same production.
Alexander Driven is one of the most gifted young artists of the Maly Theatre. He has perfect control of the body and great musical aptitude, possesses good physical skills. Endowed with charm, Alexander is ready to impersonate any given role at any given moment from romantic heroes to scoundrels. He constantly receives favourable theatre reviews.
In 2012 Alexander Driven became one of the guests of the TV program «Who is there ...» on «Culture» TV channel hosted by the famous journalist Vadim Vernik and dedicated to talented young actors.
In addition to his stage work, Alexander regularly appears on television and in films. Among his works are:« Fighter’s Shadow», «Two Moments of Love», «The Defense is Against», «Love is not what it seems», «The Kremlin Cadets», «Zemsky Doctor», «The Forensic Psychiatrists».
