The new branch of the Maly Theatre will be opened in Kogalym on March 22 with Alexander Ostrovsky's comedy Enough Stupidity in Every Wise Man. This evening, the leading actors of the theatre will take the stage: People’s Artists of Russia Irina Muravyova, Valeriy Afanasyev, Alexander Klyukvin, Lilia Yudina, Sergey Eremeev, Olga Pashkova, Honored Artists of Russia Alexander Vershinin and Olga Chuvaeva. The same show will be performed on March 23.
On March 23, in the morning, the theatre will invite its young viewers to see Andersen's fairy tale The Snow Queen.
In addition, an exhibition dedicated to the history of the Maly Theatre will be opened in the foyer of the theatre, where the guests will be able to see costumes, set designs, and photographs of actors.
The stage in Kogalym will be a fully functional platform where the Maly Theatre will regularly travel with its performances. The next tour will take place in April.
