OSTROVSKY IN ERMOLOVA’S HOUSE

90 years have passed since on 12 March 1928 the great Russian actress passed irrevocably beyond the veil to join the eternity. The third evening of «The Ermolova’s Readings» will take place this Friday at the House Museum of M.N. Ermolova.
There is good reason behind the theme of the evening «M.N. Ermolova and A.N. Ostrovsky»…The actress loved and played Ostrovsky a lot. Negina in «Talents and Admirers», Katerina in «The Storm», Larisa in «Without a Dowry», Kruchinina in «Guilty Without Guilt» - this is not a complete list of the many сharacters created by Ermolova.
On March 16 at 18:00 each guest of the Ermolova’s House Museum will have an opportunity to hear the monologues of famous Ostrovsky’s heroines presented by the brilliant actresses of the Maly Theatre - People's Artist of Russia Lyudmila Titova, People's Artist of Russia Svetlana Amanova, Honored Artist of Russia Tatiyana Lebedeva, Lidiya Milyuzina, Polina Dolinskaya, Mary Mark.
The evening will be hosted by Honoured Cultural Worker, Head of the House Museum of M.N. Ermolova, Raisa Ostrovskaya.
