Take an intimate tour of the historical building of the Maly Theatre «Hurry Up! .. A whole new theatre world, vivid and exciting is waiting for you...»

In this guided tour, our expert guides will take you on a fascinating tour of one of the oldest Russian theatres. You will learn more about this unique building that has preserved its unique architectural appearance and aesthetics.

You will see the interiors of the Maly Theatre, including the famous Ermolovsky (artistic) foyer, not accessible to the public. The theatre space will be brought to life with colourful stories about the great masters of the stage such as Mikhail Semyonovich Shchepkin, Pavel Stepanovich Mochalov, Mariya Nikolayevna Ermolova, Alexander Pavlovich Lensky, Alexander Ivanovich Sumbatov-Yuzhin, and also about the unique Sadovsky dynasty; you will find out why the Maly Theatre is called «House of Ostrovsky», you can visit the exhibition in the Novaya Shchepkinsky foyer and the auditorium.

Individuals: 2000 rubles

Groups of 5 or more: 500 rubles, concession: 250 rubles

For students of theatre universities the Maly Theatre offers free guided tours (upon written request).

The guided tour runs from 12:00 to 15:00. The tour lasts approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
