ON THE FIRST NIGHT OF THE VISIT
Dear friends,
As you already know, today is the opening night of «The Visit of the Old Lady» based on the tragicomedy by Friedrich Dürrenmatt. It is the first production based on the work of the Swiss playwright, staged at the Maly Theatre that was directed by Ilan Ronen (Israel). Just in a few hours the curtain will open, the lights will go down and the audience will plunge into the strange and bizarre atmosphere of the provincial town of Güllen preparing for the arrival of famed billionaire Claire Zachanassian.
