ALEXANDER LENSKY, ALEXANDER SUMBATOV-YUZHIN AND THE THEATRE OF THEIR TIME
On October 26, a seminar dedicated to the 170th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Pavlovich Lensky (1847-1908) and the 160th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Ivanovich Sumbatov-Yuzhin (1857-1927) was held at A.I.Sumbatov-Yuzhin's Memorial Apartment.
The seminar was opened by the Deputy Artistic Director of the Maly Theatre, rector of The Mikhail Shchepkin Higher Theatre School (Institute) of the State Academic Maly Theatre of Russia Boris Nikolayevich Lyubimov (below you may find the recording of his speech).
The conference was hosted by Nadezhda Telegina, Deputy Head of Creativity and Information Centre and Head of the A.I.Sumbatov-Yuzhin's Memorial Apartment, Vera Tarasova.
